Where the time went.

It has been an insane few weeks at work - all good things - but with the Holidays rapidly approaching, I need to keep my head straight...here is my calm in the storm:

The girls at work always poke fun at my overused phrases.

Such as fab, ahhhmazing and super etc.

This weekend has been beyond ahhhhmazing.  Quality time with my love, a smidge of work, yummy cocktails and over the top delicious food. 

Best part is!  I leave for New York in the morning.  Friends, fashion and [fab] experiences await me.

Smitten

I started out today a little cranky.  The variables of my mood are indescribable and unfixable, or so I thought.

Believe it or not, my work pulled me out of my slump today.  Non stop work, activities, projects and ending the day with beer tastings (for work research, yes) positioned my mood from 'wrong side of the bed' to 'superb, smiley and thankful'.  I am beyond thrilled to see what tomorrow brings.

New York Bound

For the first time in my existence, I am excited for Fall.  Chunky oversize sweaters, rugged boots, long skirts, shorts and tights - pure yummy.

But what excites me the most is my vacay alone - 6 days in New York City.  I am beyond thrilled to see old friends, experience my first Fashion Night Out and remember the lives lost on our 10 year anniversary of the horrible September 11th attack.  

Although it won't be 'fall' quite yet, I plan on living in oversize tees, cute cutoffs and fun hats.

With family in town, I am much too excited for this weekend to arrive...come on 3!  Which makes me think even more, anyone can be your family if they treat you right.  So here is some of mine...

Recently I have been desperately desiring more creativity and with my few month love affair with 'blog hunting', I thought this may be a great new outlet for me.

Like so many other women, I like things pretty, clean, magical, fashionable.  Great food, sunny memories, cute puppies and babies, and beautiful clothing is what inspires me, motivates me and empowers me.
